The Fremont Fields will not be available for any practice sessions this Fall season.
The Fremont Fields will only be utilized by training staff for practices. This will not prohibit you as coaches from starting or finishing your session on your scheduled training day. An example would be as follows. Your practice schedule is Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. On Tuesday you have your scheduled training session from 5:00-6:00 with the trainer. You may then continue to practice at the Fremont Fields for the additional 30 minutes and finish at 6:30 at Fremont. Your remaining practices on Thursday and Saturday need to be conducted at an alternate practice facility.
This does not preclude you from using the fields for a friendly game or a scheduled scrimmage with a team of another age group or gender within the club. These types of activities need to be approved by me, and placed on the field schedule calendar. I strongly encourage these types of activities and will make every possible effort to accommodate you with scheduling. Fremont school will be having games in the fall at one of the large fields.
Additionally, while at the fields the following practices will need to be adhered to.
- No vehicles are to be driven out to the fields! (The only exceptions to this are for the Trainer / Field Coordinator / Director of Coaching) Maintenance vehicles such as Blue Boy and delivery trucks may go out as needed. Any other exceptions need to be cleared through me. We will accommodate handicapped individuals.
- The club has purchased rebounders to facilitate shooting/finishing practice. Utilize the rebounders and stay out of the goal mouths.
- Clean up after your teams. The garbage can be taken and dumped in the school dumpster on the north side of the school.
- No Pets are allowed at the fields
- No smoking is allowed at the fields
- No alcohol is allowed at the fields
- Teams will be expected and required to assist with maintenance items and issues that arise at the fields. Most importantly but not limited to: lining, taking down corner flags, emptying trash, weed control, fertilizing etc..
It is imperative that these common courtesies and practices are adhered to in order to have quality fields for our children to play on!
Thank you, I look forward to us all working together for a successful Fall season.Tim Gramins
